Humanist Ottawa Members Interviewed at World Humanist Congress
As part of podcast episode, “United by Hope: Live From the World Humanist Congress”, Humanism Now host James Hodgson interviews one of Humanist Ottawa’s newest members, Buela Nokutubo and one of our association’s oldest members, Richard Thain.
In this interview, Beula Nokutubo touched upon her search for a sense of community with values based on reason and compassion. Richard Thain’s discovery of an affinity with humanism came much earlier but with the same respect for humanity and human rights. Although distant across time, these two searches intersect at a common understanding of the real world and our collective responsibility in it.
Humanism Now is the weekly podcast for everyone curious, interested or actively engaged in secular humanism. Each Sunday, host James Hodgson—founder of Humanise Live—welcomes scientists, philosophers, activists, authors, entrepreneurs and community leaders who are challenging the status quo and building a fairer, kinder world.
